Here for auction: Maag. Mendelssohn "Midsummer Night's Dream". SXL 2060. ED1 "original recording by" grooved label's. Blue Border original. 2K 1E marices.
I have checked parts of both sides of the disc for sound quality on a Thorens TD160 super with SME Mk III arm and B&O MMC II cartridge, Roksan Kandy RA Mark III amp and B & W DM 603 floorstander's. I hope this gives a fair representation of the disc's quality in the description below.
Vinyl is in very lovely EX+ condition.A fine disc indeed still with a lovely shine.Just two very minor,small light nail scuffs (one on each side).Totally non sounding, and as said very light and minor.Otherwise disc is totally clean, even when viewed in strong light.There are no kinks or warps and disc lies flat on turntable.Lovely looking disc.
Sound is beautifully clear and undistorted with no repetetive tics in the parts played.Disc play's with lovely silent surfaces...In fact disc sounds really great,one of the nicest SXL's I have ever heard ! A very fine copy indeed.
Cover is in EX+ condition.Looks great. Not much wrong at all.One corner has a tiny,minor dink.Just very light genral wear.Cover could still pass as if new from the shop wher it was bought!
Label's EX+ Could see only a few light spindle marks and there are no other marks or blemishes at all.
Original inner sleeve is EX+
