Description
This extraordinary LP – ICP 019 – features renowned Dutch bass player Maarten van Regteren Altena playing in a live performance in a famous Amsterdam theatre in 1975. It's the second of his solo bass albums [the first was his "Handicaps", played with a broken wrist in 1973 ...!] and this one features thirteen of his own compositions, described by one reviewer as revealing "his dadaist spirit" — there's certainly a lot of playfulness and variety in the performance.
The LP is in very good condition [as defined at Discogs] from close visual inspection. The sleeve has gentle wear to the corners, more evident on the bottom edge, and the front has two stickers: one price sticker from Honest Jon's record shop, and one pointless green one.
The median price for this LP on Discogs is over £69.
