Yes, this is the renowned Maazel/Cleveland Orchestra performance of Respighi's FESTE ROMANE long recognized on the TAS list as one of the very best recordings of all time; in fact, one of only 12 so nominated.
Captured in Masonic Hall, Cleveland, in 1976, by Kenneth Wilkinson, it has become the stuff of legends, in audiophile circles, for its power, sense of hall, and outlandish definition and presence.
It most certainly is one of those records you tell a friend, "Sit a moment, please. I have something I want you to hear."
