You are bidding on the following item.

This is an original Australian advertising poster for the Much More Ballroom 23 Inch Box Show show on Saturday June 24th 1972. It measures 45cm x 58cm. The event combined a number of bands that were at the forefront of the Progressive, psychedelic rock and seventies blues rock movements in this country playing together at the epicentre of head rock in Melbourne at the time, The Much More Ballroom. Featured bands were LIPP & THE DOUBLE DECKER BROTHERS, COUNTRY RADIO, DADDY COOL & MACKENZIE THEORY as well as lights by Giant Edison Screw, all for the princely sum of $2-00. Designed by PHIL PINDER it was certainly one of the more recognizable styles of the day. Poster is in EXCELLENT condition with a pin hole in each corner and a couple of minor ageing stains that do not detract from the appearance. It would look great framed.
