DESCRIPTION:  Lynn Minmay Macross Album with RARE MACROSS POSTER! Mari Iijima will always be remembered as the voice of Lynn Minmay in the 1982-83 television series "Super Dimensional Fortress Macross" and the related 1984 film, "Macross: Do You Remember Love?" In the "Macross" universe, Minmay was a budding pop idol singer, one of the love interests of series hero Hikaru Ichijyo and a vital player in Earth's defense against invading Zentradi forces. (The "Macross" series was later adapted in the United States as part of the "Robotech" TV series.)  

Mari Iijima become one of the hottest pop idols in Japan after her original demo tape was picked up by JVC Victor in 1982 and she was signed to the record company as a singer-songwriter. Soon afterward, she was asked to audition for the role of Lynn Minmay in The Super Dimension Fortress Macross by the label and the producers chose her to play the role. The series quickly became a mega hit and brought Iijima to stardom. 

Her debut album, Rosé, containing no Macross tracks, had lyrics and music written by her. It debuted at number 10 on the charts in September 1983. Riding her wave of popularity in the summer of 1984 this 'Lynn Minmay" autographed album was released, sold out and became impossible to find afterwards! 

At Macross World 2016 October 15th I had the fortunate to get Mari to autograph my album which makes it top among my prized possessions! 

CONDITION: EXCELLENT! Upon inspection this item shows some wear along the left spine and corners. Glossy and excellent cover graphics and print throughout.  The poster insert is intact and in very nice condition.  Sleeve is present and even white wrap-around label is attached which is usually missing.  Vinyl shows very minimal evidence of having been played.  Test played well.  Amazing condition overall!   Please see detailed photographs for exact condition and judge for yourself.

If we decide your items need to be shipped separately for their own protection, we will not be able to combine shipping. Ebay does not allow for "COMBINED SHIPPING" but I will refund a portion of the transaction after payment and shipping is complete only if excessive postage was charged for multiple items.
