Before The Verdict contains several alternate of tracks from Guilty Simpson's album [b]Ode To The Ghetto[/b] (recorded with new vocal performances and new beats), together with a new tracks and a previously-unreleased demo from 2004 executive produced by J Dilla, "Life Goes By," featuring Guilty Simpson over Madlib's beat from Madvillain's "All Caps." Madlib Medicine Show is a music series by producer Madlib consisting of experimental hip-hop, jazz fusion and electronic music, produced, marketed and released with little concern for traditional norms of the commercial record industry - except for this barcode:
