Description

Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted. 

 

Grading is based on visual inspection.

 

I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.

 

New and vintage vinyl is hard to grade strictly using eBay’s system because the record and the cover are two different components. Therefore, I call a record new and mint if it is opened but has never been played.  I use the grading category to describe the cover condition.

  • Here's an oddity that's a bonus for you.
  • I discovered 2 copies of this record in the sleeve when I took the photos. 
  • Neither copy has ever been played.
  • They are 45RPM on thick vinyl.
  • This is the original long version of "Burning Up". It was remixed and shortened twice for two different versions of the album.
  • The single piece board cover still has tight seams but shows edge wear all around.
  • Both copies of the record are in plastic inner sleeves.
  • This is a one-owner that the Seller got new from Sire in 1983. It has been in storage for 35 years.

Notes

A very similar release than this Madonna - Burning Up / Physical Attraction but with different labels. 

"Burning Up" was later edited/remixed into a shorter album version, 3:41, and eventually, reworked once more, with subtracted guitar and added synthesizers. 
Most editions of the album includes the latter 4:48 version.
