Jump back to 1984 with this 1st pressing vintage vinyl copy of Madonna's album "Like A Virgin" released in 1984 by Sire with catalog number 9 25157-1. This LP is a classic example of Madonna's synth-pop and dance-pop style from the 1980s, showcasing her unique blend of pop, rock, and electronic genres.
The black vinyl disc is in really great shape here 41 years on and is graded Excellent (EX) and it's borderline Near Mint. The original cardboard jacket sleeve is also graded Excellent (EX), and the original paper inner sleeve with lyrics is also included albeit it's torn along several edges from the vinyl wearing it. This 12" record is a valuable addition to any 80's music collector's vinyl collection and is a nice find for fans of Madonna.

From Wikipedia... Like a Virgin is the second studio album by American singer Madonna, released on November 12, 1984, by Sire Records. It became Madonna's first number one album on the Billboard 200, as well as the first female album to sell over five million copies in the United States. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) later certified it diamond for shipment of ten million units.
In the United States, Like a Virgin debuted at number 70 on the Billboard 200 on December 1, 1984. The following week, it climbed to number ten. The album reached the chart's first spot on February 9, 1985, where it spent three weeks. Madonna became the third female artist in the 1980s decade ―after Barbra Streisand and Kim Carnes― to score both a number one album and single, as the title track had reached the Hot 100's top spot two weeks prior.
- I played this LP completely through on both sides on my audio-technia AT-LP60XBT turntable without issues. It plays very well and sounds great! This LP captures the emergence of Madonna as an 80's music icon and a pop music superstar.
