Madonna Like A Virgin WHITE VINYL PROMO COPY - 9 25157-1 -1984 NEVER PLAYED!.
I brought this home in 1984 and it has been shuffled thru my vinyl collection for over 35 years. IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED!
I was filing a piece of vinyl in the Ms and I assumed it must have belonged to my wife before we got married. When I looked at it, I saw the PROMO stamp on the cover and realized I brought it home when I saw it was white vinyl. I liked colored vinyl when I was a kid.
The photos speak for themselves!
You can see wear to the surface of the jacket as I never used plastic sleeves. Radio people were never really concerned with the jacket. Protecting the vinyl was our only concern.
There is a small “nick” on the spine. Also, the lower right corner has a small wrinkle.
The inner sleeve has a split on one side where the vinyl broke thru from being moved around my library over the decades. The other side and bottom of the inner sleeve looks like the vinyl has tried to break thru there as well.
This is the first time the vinyl has been out of the sleeve since 1984 for inspection and photographs.
I do not grade or sell vinyl for a living. I am just trying to make room in my limited vinyl collection. As I have stated, this vinyl has never been played. The photographs speak for themselves. Inner sleeves get damaged over the decades. If you are a professional vinyl vendor and you expect to buy this and sell it for more money, be sure you read all of the particulars regarding the condition of the inner and outer sleeves.
