As Madonna was a complete unknown in the UK when her first single was released in 1982 it came in a plain 12" single sleeve.

I will always combine and reduce total postage costs when possible.
I always try and re-use packaging materials when possible but do have to purchase new packaging sometimes (e.g. padded envelopes). I then buy in bulk to ensure that you pay only the minimum cost for new packaging.
