Description

This is an original pressing NOT the more recent release.

Here is Madrigal, ARA-136 Spyder Productions, the ultra rare self titled private pressing recorded right here in the wilds of Morris County, New Jersey. Sometime around 1971 my brother spotted this new at a supermarket in Maplewood, NJ. Thinking the guys on the cover looked suitably groovy and far out, he forked over his hard earned teenage dollars not knowing what a rare artifact he would own.


Condition:

This record was cleaned with both a wet vacuum system and an ultrasonic machine so I think it's about as clean as it's going to get.

Visual grade - Good. Light scratches and signs of handling, no discernible bong water stains.

Audible grade - Good. The noisiest tracks are tracks 2 and 3 on side one where one channel was improperly mixed/mastered with barely any audio. Ticks, pops and general groove noise abound but the record plays well and is in my opinion enjoyable and listenable. Please don't take my word for it, contact me for samples.

Cover - Fair. Paste-on front and back images are wrinkled, some blue pen ink visible lower right corner, corner wear, an overall somewhat dingy appearance. That said all is intact, no split seams.
