You are bidding on a rare first pressing Mae Destination: Beautiful LP. This 180-gram black vinyl is brand new, in shrink-wrap. Only 100 copies of this variant were made when the album was initially pressed in 2012. 50% of the proceeds raised from this auction will be donated directly to the Washington Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Why are we doing this?
My name is John Frazier. I own and operate a record company called Spartan Records in Seattle, WA. I'm just one of many, many people who have lost family members to Cystic Fibrosis. My parents lost two of their children to Cystic Fibrosis and as a family, the disease and its effects are something that has characterized our unique perspective of loss, reconciliation, and faith.
As with many of us who have experienced such devastating losses, we search for healing and ways to make a positive impact in the wake of such profound heartache and tragedy. With March 16th being thirteenth anniversary of my brother Jeff's death, we're choosing to use the small resources at our disposal to give back to the foundation that continues to search for a cure to his disease. These auctions are our way of fusing our passion for music and art with our unending love for Jeff and others who live with Cystic Fibrosis everyday.
