One-of-a-Kind, one-sided, Theatre Use Test Pressing of Mae Questel as Betty Boop, performing "Button Up Your Overcoat" that was played in the theatre during performances of "Goodbye, My Fancy" in the original production satged in New York in February 1949 - This is the ONLY KNOWN COPY. The play was staged at the Fulton Theatre (The production included Madeleine Carroll, Conrad nagel, Shirley Booth & Sam Wanamaker) - An original copy of the program is included with the record. Collectors may recall this record was sold at auction by Warren Hicks many years ago - and, since then - it has long been a much-valued part of the late Howard Rasch Collection - There are two selections on this record: The first cut is Mae Questel as Betty Boop performing "Button Up Your Overcoat" with an unknown Vocal Group; the second cut is Mae Questel as Betty Boop performing "Button Up Your Overcoat" with a tenor sax and rhythm. These sound track were never issued commercially - nor used in any Betty Boop cartoon. The record is in E- (near-Excellent) condition and plays beautifully, 78 rpm. Buyer pays shipping $4.50 in USA.
