Mahalia Jackson Newport Jazz Festival 1958 Curved Hi-fi Stereo 1st anywhere in Europe Press on Holland Philips. Everything about the appearance, from the labels to the style of the sleeve shows this to be a first type issue, in that lovely warm valve tube neutral Philips mastering. Not as compressed as US Columbia's of the era, as these were designed for high end stereo's. Great, definitive concert by the finest of all gospel singers. Bonus lp is the 1962 Uk Columbia mono of live in Europe. Similar if not better condition. Our ethos is to offer you best sounding analogue only pressings of vintage records. Here is another beauty of that type. We offer massive postage subsidies to overseas buyers on multiple purchases; a maximum of £15, then no extra charge. We pack carefully in custom made hard card boxes. If the appearance or playgrade suggests it requires it, our records are cleaned on a wash and vac machine, using art du son fluid in distilled water. This is already in a new heavy poly outer with antistatic inners added with outer sleeve and records all layered behind each other to prevent splits.
