Description

Mahavishnu Orchestra Birds of Fire Columbia Records (PC 31996) I believe this is a slightly later reissue of the original 1973 release. I also believe it is a 'Carrollton, Ga.' pressing, but am not completely sure. from deep in my Record Vault VINYL is Near Mint+. Side One is Near Mint. It was played only once. Under bright light, I spot a few superficial sleeve scuffs. These are very few and faint. No scratches. Side Two is Mint. This side was never played. No scuffs or scratches. Pristine. Both sides have fantastic, 'like new' shines. Both sides have clean and vibrant 'Columbia' labels.  COVER is Excellent. It remains 'tight'. Vibrant colors/images. Both sides show a wonderful gloss. No split seams. Clean spine. It shows some light ring wear. The white background of the back cover shows some aging spots/stains.  John McLaughlin and bandmates present hypnotic rock/jazz styles. Clean vintage vinyl.
