Mahler Symphony 9 Solti UK Decca SET 360/1 WB 2 LPs

 

The London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Georg Solti performs the Mahler “Symphony No. 9”. A two record set, this is an English stereo pressing on the Decca Label (SET 360/1stampers 1W/1W/1W/4W) , the labels are purple and silver with “Made in England by…” at 10 o’clock, a full frequency stereo sound “fatband” and logo, and a groove. The records are of excellent appearance and play and sound superb with a minimum of surface noise. The box laminate has rubbed with some wear to the corners. The libretto has some foxing.
