Description
Johann Sebastian Bach: Suites for unaccompanied Violoncello Nos. 1 & 2.
Performed by Enrico Mainardi
German Ed1 DGG mono-pressings with silver „Alle Rechte“- Archiv- labels. Article-Nos 14029 APM. Date on back-cover: 7/56.
Complete with archive-cards and additional handling-instructions for vinyl records. Dates in dead wax are 25.05. & 26.05.1954.
Printing on the labels looks washed out for unknown reasons, the label-text is not entirely legible anymore. It's still recognizable that they have the"Alle Rechte"-imprint, though. Check the pictures!
Mainardi has signed this on front in 1958, I'd say probably in Kerkrade.... or was it Wiesbaden? It's up to you to make other suggestions.... ;-)

Condition Cover: EX . Stitched triple fold-out with some handling-wear and light ring.

Condition Vinyl: VG+ . Played often with strong spindle-wear. The entire record has a spider-web of superficial wiping, but no deep marks. There is continuous background-noise throughout, but no repetitive tics. Still sounds very nice with my stereo-cartridge and should considerably improve with a mono pick-up. Not perfect, but still in collectible shape.

About my record-grading:
All records are described as accurately as possible and I will always prefer a more detailed depiction of the actual status, but usually I’ll only visually grade the records.
Please note that old records that were stored in shelves for a long time might have static noises even if they still look like new. Professional cleaning will almost always solve that problem.
