Johann Sebastian Bach: The Six Sonatas for Violin & Piano
Performed by Paul Makonowitzky & Noel Lee.
French Ed1 Lumen stereo-pressing from the late 50s or early 60s with green & silver labels.
2 separate LPs in box.

Condition Box: EX. Unlaminated cardboard-box with light storage-wear and some tiny foxmarks. No cellar smell!

Condition Covers: EX to NM. Beautifully preserved sleeves with laminated fronts, unlaminated backs.

Condition Vinyls: EX to NM. Can hardly have ever been played, virtually no spindle-wear.
Both LPs have some faint paperscuffs and light traces of a film, probably as a reaction of the vinyl from being exposed to a light dampness.
Considering the fact that these LPs still were placed in early rough paper-inners, not the later plastic-sleeves, the wear is actually minimal.
I have almost entirely playgraded both LPs and audio is stunning throughout, the music comes through clear and powerful with considerably light surface noises.Surface-noise is a bit stronger during the first three minutes of side 2 of LD 3-437 and LD 3-438 has a tiny pressing defect on side 1, causing 12 consecutive tics.
Overall a pristinely preserved set!

A note about my record-grading:
I usually only visually grade the LPs under strong light and I only playgrade them ( i.e. the portions that seem to have signs of usage), if I can't be sure of their actual condition.
If records show stronger signs of soiling I'll professionally clean them (Okki Nokki RCM), but I'm not doing this if it's obviously only dust, as I know that collectors usually prefer their
very own way of record-cleaning.
My goal is to always decribe the records appropriately and I will name every visible and/or audible defect in my detailed description. If regardless of my precautions
you should ever be dissatisfied with the condition of a record, please contact me before leaving negative or neutral feedback to give me the chance to resolve your query.
I'm confident, however, that this will hardly ever be the case. I've been selling records for many years now and so far complaints fortunately have been the utter exception!
