Description
For your consideration this auction is for a 1956 EmArcy (MG 36041) release of Mal Fitch popular Jazz Singer formerly of the Crewcuts in excellent condition.
I screen all records in these lots for bad scratches or covers and I replace sleeves if needed. All are in excellent playing condition. Please give me good feedback and I will do the same.Thanks for looking!!.. Jazz content in his style, Mal Fitch enjoyed popularity in '50s working with The Crewcuts vocal group as a pianist and arranger. He studied with The Cleveland Philharmonic conductor and others as well as having two years of formal study at Bethany College before joining the army. He led The 2nd Army Band at Fort Meade from 1946 to 1948 and also served as a disc jockey on Armed Forces radio. He resumed his studies after his discharge. Fitch formed a duo with his wife Betty and worked in Dallas for over a year prior to his joining The Crewcuts.
