----- THE MUSIC ----- Mal Waldron's second Prestige date, featuring JOHN COLTRANE in his prime 1957 Prestige period, alongside Jackie McLean, Idrees Sulieman, Sahib Shihab, and Bill Hardman. Includes "One By One," "Don't Explain," and "The Way You Look Tonight." An essential and increasingly hard to find Coltrane sideman date.
----- CONDITION ----- VINYL: Very Good (VG), graded visually - NOT play tested. Please grade from photos. Both sides retain good gloss but show scattered hairlines under strong light, scuff clusters, and several scratches that show white including longer marks on both sides. Graded conservatively; may well play better than it looks, but sold as VG.
JACKET: Very Good (VG) with defects disclosed in full: top corner split with chipping and a small hole through the layers; lamination lifting and chipping along the opening edge; general edge and seam wear with age toning. Front image presents well with typical surface scuffing. Spine intact and fully legible. Photos show all defects - please review carefully before purchase.
