Description
This is the original Van Gelder-stamped pressing of Mal Waldron “The Dealers” on Status ST 8316. The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once, if at all. The coated cover is in new condition – bright, clean, and immaculate throughout – still in the original shrink wrap; 1/8” ding at the lower right corner. Personnel include John Coltrane, Jackie McLean, Bill Hardman, Paul Quinichette, and Art Taylor. This is one of the unusual Status records that has all previously unissued material: two out-takes from the “Mal/2” session and two out-takes from ”Wheelin’ and Dealin’”. $150.00
