Description
Mal/2 Mal Waldron Sextets Prestige 7111 mono LP. Original Deep groove pressing with yellow fireworks label, 446 W. 50th St., N.Y.C. address, and RVG on the trail-off wax. Flat-edge pressing with no groove guard. Sidemen are Jackie McLean, John Coltrane, Idrees Sulieman, Sahib Shihab, Bill Hardman, Julian Euell, Ed thigpen, and Art Taylor. Tunes are: From This Moment On/J.M.'s Dream Doll/The Way You Look Tonight/One By One/Don't Explain/Potpourri .
Condition - Grading is Visual Under Bright Light
Cover is VG+. The front cover graphics are beautiful and vivid. The corners show wear with a 1/3 inch split on the upper right and a 3/4 inch split on the upper left. The upper left seam shows 1/2 ich of wear and 2 inches of cracking. The back cover slick has a name in ink whited-out on the upper left corner, a stamp on the upper right corner, and a few light stains and browning. Pictures of other Prestige LP's along the bottom. A pretty cover despite the flaws.
LP is a nice glossy VG+ with some light sleeve spotting, some hairlines (mainly on the edges), and a few light and thin surface scuffs, nothing feelable or serious. Labels are beautiful with some faint marks visible under bright angled light. Includes original tattered rice paper sleeve that has done a nice job of protecting the record but I will ship the record in another sleeve. A pretty record especially for a flat-edge pressing.
Overall not a perfect or NM but a nice collectable copy of a very rare jazz LP. This copy should make most collectors very happy. Check out my other auctions for more rare and interesting records. Grading
Grading is SS (still sealed), NM, VG+, VG. The myriad of grading systems on Ebay is a good indicator of the subjective nature of grading. In my opinion NM is close to perfect with one or two very minor flaws, VG+ is above average and collectable and VG is average used condition but probably the best choice for playing. I'm a collector and try to describe LPs as accurately as possible, the way I would want them described to me. The pictures should at least give a good indication of the condition of the covers and labels. Please see my seller feedback for comments on my grading. If you don't agree with how I'm calling a record that is your privilege but with all respect please don't bid.
Packaging
LP will be shipped outside of jacket in record bag and boxed for protection using an LP shipping box with cardboard stiffeners.
Terms and Payment
Low starting price and no reserve. Five day auction. Payment can be made through Paypal, money orders or personal checks. Checks will be held to clear. Paypal payment must be made within 48 hours of auction close or seven days for other forms of payment unless other arragements are made before end of auction.
Shipping and Insurance
I don't profit from shipping. If an overage occurs I will refund the difference.
US
Priority mail with free delivery confirmation in US. Insurance is optional but I cannot be responsible for uninsured shipments.
International
Shipping methods are First Class or Priority International. First Class cannot be tracked. Please see shipping calculator for cost.

Refund Policy
I stand behind what I sell, LP may be returned in original condition for a full refund minus return shipping costs if I am notified within three days of receipt of LP. No rebates if you keep the LP. I don't end auctions early, there is no Buy It Now price, emails asking for a BIK price will be ignored. Good luck!
