NOTES: 1976 France original pressing. Gatefold cover with attached booklet inside the gatefold. Esteemed reviewer Richard Falk (of Galactic Ramble fame) feels this is their best album. His review:

This concept album, with a song for each month of the year, was where it really all came together for Malicorne. The early Steeleye Span-like musical base remains on some tracks, with brutal use of electric guitar heightening the tension, and as usual there are plenty of mediaeval elements, but they also add baroque strings, touches of progressive rock and even a stunning excursion into psychedelia (the eerily beautiful ‘Le Luneux’). The result is a marvellously atmospheric, deeply doomy suite of folk/rock music rivalling anything in the genre. GRADE: A.

GRADES: SEALED, NM, EXC, VG+, VG, VG-, G, FAIR, POOR.

I grade strictly under bright light. My highest grade for an unsealed record is NM (NEAR MINT) - a record must look like new to be graded NM! An EXC record will show only slight signs of prior play. A VG+ is a solid used record that should play well but has minor visual flaws. A VG has more obvious flaws BUT is not trashed. Records graded VG- or worse will often play much better than they look.
