THE FIRST TIME AROUND THIS LP HAD 6 WATCHERS, NOT ONE OF WHOM ACTUALLY PLACED A BID. WE NEED BIDDERS HERE, NOT WATCHERS !!!     This is a good (in record collecting,please remember that "good" is really not that nice) condition copy of the highly sought after album on Family Productions Records by Mama Lion entitled "Preserve Wildlife". This album is probably as sought after (maybe moreso) for the photo of lead singer Lynn Carey suckling a lion cub contained in the gatefold than the music contained in the album. So ... I suppose I should say that the photo is in fine shape and undamaged. The cover is in decent shape but has corner dings and wear plus a three quarters of an inch seam split at the fold of the gatefold. All of the prison bars on the cover are present and in solid shape (they are usually damaged or missing). There is an area (see photo) at the bottom of the scroll on the left (under the word "Preserve" in the title) where someone has colored in a small area of paper loss and the lower end of the scroll which I believe also covers paper loss. The album itself has a tiny plain white sticker on the side 1 label as well as a small area of paper loss that crosses in a line through the center of the entire label side to side which has been colored in black. The vinyl has numerous light scratches and scuffs but no deep scratches to cause skipping etc. In other words, it doesn't look great but it plays fine on my turntable and has been played. This is not a clean collectible copy worth big money as the others who are selling this for $75 - $175 are offering. It is ; however, a decent playable copy of a highly collectible LP with the incredible gatefold photo in nice shape and, while nobody even seems to care about the musical aspect of it, it is a pretty solid bluesy rocker. Lynn Carey at one time was being compared to Janis Joplin which may have been a stretch but she certainly can belt it out and together with Neil Merryweather on bass formed a pretty rocking band. In addition to some original rockers there are covers of "Ain't No Sunshine (Bill Withers), "Ain't Too Proud To Beg" (), and "Can't Find My Way Home" (Blind Faith) to spice things up. I think this is a pretty good album on its' own merits in addition to Lynn Carey's obvious physical attributes. If you want a copy that doesn't cost big money, here it is.                                 I truly regret having to address this issue but recent events have forced my hand.Starting today (7-8-11) I will need you to inform me when you are bidding on multiple items of your intent to do so immediately after winning the first item. I am wasting far too much time, work, and money by getting right to work packing your item, driving to the post office the next day, getting a quote, and sending an invoice (which you still aren't responding to) which prompts an unpaid item reminder all for an invoice you do not even need. PLEASE, all it takes is a little cooperation and consideration on your part. If this is not done I will be sending separate invoices, separate mailings, and separate shipping charges. That would be very expensive especially to overseas customers. I really love my overseas customers and likely would have no business without you but it has been mostly overseas customers who are doing this so ... PLEASE do not let it come to that. Thank you !
