Description

Tom Baird was a musician, arranger, and songwriter for Motown, but before that, he was in groups and writing songs in his native Canada.  This appears to be one of his earliest published songs, Man in the Street, heard here in (I think) it's first recording by Gillian Russell.  If this is the released version by Ms. Russell, then it is the same version of the song that is a very desirable 45 in its original Canadian pressing.  This 10" 45 rpm single-sided acetate is in nice VG shape, with some storage marks, but plays through loud and clear with just occasional clicks (would probably benefit from a professional cleaning).  Comes with its original lead sheet.
