This listing is for a very rare UK original pressing of the Manic Street Preacher's fifth album with the classic tracks If You Tolerate This.. and You Stole The Sun From My Heart.  They weren't thinking of Ebay sellers when they came up with titles haha.
Unfortunately the original picture inner sleeve is missing but the record is in stunning condition and sounds great, a rare collectors piece and a long time since I've heard these great tracks and I even listen to Absolute 90's radio.
All of my records are play tested on a Project Debut Carbon with 2M Red stylus which is quite revealing so any sound defects may be more exaggerated than on other more mainstream players.  Or conversely if you are a full on audiophile I will let you judge how your set up compares and how you envisage the sound will compare.
I don't currently have access to a cleaning machine so please forgive any dust or finger marks which are on any of my records - hopefully will be investing in one at some point.
Record Appearance - NM I don't like to describe records of this age as Near Mint as it is unrealistic but I really can't see any marks or scratches under a bright light, a beautiful glossy "as new" record.  The labels are perfect and no blemishes and I can't even see any spindle marks so obviously not played very much - which is a crime a very underrated band and album.
Record Audio - VG+ There is a little surface noise on run in and on very quiet moments but judging by the physical condition above I would be confident a good machine clean would flush some dust from the grooves as it probably hasn't been enjoyed for a few years.  The sound quality is wonderful those stunning vocals really sound crisp and on the louder tracks the mids and lows are lovey and rich, a great record.
Record Sleeve - VG Considering the condition of the record the sleeve has not fared as well unfortunately.  The sleeve is made of soft material to begin with so there are quite a few creases along the edges but only the corners have light shelf wear.  There is some ring wear under a bright light and a few indentations on the front sleeve which I am not sure what has caused them, possibly somebody written on top of it.  It is just a small 1 inch indent on the top left but only really obvious when under a bright light.  The record is stored in a plain white inner sleeve but originally would have come with a picture sleeve with lyrics but is unfortunately is missing.  Not sure how you lose something like that and again is baffling how you can be careless enough to lose a sleeve but keep the record in perfect condition but there you go.
