Manic Street Preachers ''UK Channel Boredom'' / Laurens ''I Don't Know Where The Trouble Is'' 

This is an very good condition flexi (has been played), with the paper sleeve showing sign of wear (slight creasing and very small 2mm tears over the 'N' and 'S'). Sadly no Hopelessly Devoted fanzine, but a great addition to a Manics collection none the less.

Featured in 2012 Christmas Record Collector magazine's top 31 (!) collectable free records. 

Apparently recorded for £25, the Ritchie Edwards-penned song takes its title from the (as-yet unsigned) band's first press release, it was re-recorded as 'A Vision Of Dead Desire' (the b-side of 'You Love Us'). The Laurens track was probably recorded for even less, they re-recorded their track with Bobby Elliott from The Hollies (really!) and it appeared on a wonky single in the States (some on coloured vinyl, wow). Now that's another story.

Back to the flexi... if you didn't know, the sleeve features both Richey Manic's address in Blackwood and Craig Lauren's in Burnley.
