very rare MANICS 7" vinyl of no surface all feeling` bought last year from the secret 7" , this means that a few chosen artists were asked to release a previously unreleased single accompanied by an artist to design a unique record sleeve( 100 different designs made) , the manic choose `no surface all feeling` and gave their profits to a `mental awareness `charity
Secret 7” is a design brief where they take 7 tracks from 7 of the best-known musicians around and press each one 100 times to 7" vinyl. They then invite creatives from around the world to interpret the tracks in their own style, resulting in a one-of-a-kind sleeve for every 7”. The record sleeve designs are made up of famous names through to gems we unearth through artwork submitted to their website.
After the exhibition all the artwork is sold and the money goes to a different chosen charity every year
i live local to where the band grew up in Blackwood, s-wales and have over the years been a big collector of their signed records/posters, im selling off some extras that i already have to make space for more rarer items. Would make a great gift to either yourself or someone you know as a manics fan (past or present)
