Description
Unique item for Beach Boys collectors. Signed vinyl LP of "The Many Moods of Murry Wilson". The sleeve is in VG condition. A crease across the front top left with slight ring wear on back cover. A couple of light marks. Standard EMI company inner with only light wear. The vinyl is comfortably VG. A couple of surface marks and some hairlines. Two surface marks in particular on A2 look bad but have very little affect on playback. Overall some light pops and some light crackle. Pretty much what you would expect from a 54 year old record. Vinyl is mono with the catalogue number T2819. On side 1 over the Capitol Records logo there is a sticker stating "Factory Sample, Not For Sale". Item has been kept in a PVC sleeve since I bought it. Now for the interesting bit. As you can see from the photos it is signed and dated by Murry Wilson himself. I looked up Murry's signature online and have attached a photo which was low resolution but it is clearly the real deal. A 2 minute google search will put your mind at ease on that count. It is signed to "Dear Judy" which immediately made me think of Judy Bowles, Brian's first girlfriend and subject of "Surfer Girl", who continued to live close to the Wilson household. Or it could just be one of his many lady friends. How this ended up in Dundee, Scotland is anyone's guess. Free postage in the UK. Overseas goes via Global Shipping Programme.
