Marc Bolan & T Rex The Sound Track Of The Motion Picture 'Born To Boogie'
This is an original UK vinyl pressing on Marc On Wax 514 from 1991. It's a double album and includes a mint 16 page booklet of black and white photos.
"In March, 1972 The Empire Pool Wimbley played host to Marc Bolan and T Rex along with 20,000 screaming teenagers. The two concerts were filmed by Ringo Starr, the X-Beatle turned movie-maker. This package recreates the special atmosphere of a T Rex concert with live performances of some of Bolan's greatest hits as well as the lesser know "Baby Strange" and the wonderful acoustic versions of "Cosmic Dancer" and "Spaceball Ricochet". The famous Mad Hatter's Tea Party sequence features the voice of Marc Bolan accompanied by acoustic guitar and strings, giving an exceptional insight into the vocal supremacy of Bolan. Coupled with this are all the little incidental audio sequences ( including the spoken poems ) that make the film such fun."

The cover is gatefold Mint with no ring wear, no writing , and no seam splits. The vinyl looks mint and it plays mint. The labels are perfect with no spindle marks. The record comes in a plain white inner sleeve.
The songs are : Jeepster, Baby Strange, Spaceball Ricochet, Cosmic Dancer, Telegram Sam, Hot Love, Get It On, The Tea Party, Runway, I Looked To The Left, Some People Like To Rock, Chariot Choogle, Some People Like To Roll, and Children Of The Revolution.
I have been buying and selling records for more than 25 years. I sell records at all Northwest record conventions and at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.
I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard. One sheet is 3/4 inch thick triple strength industrial cardboard. The other sheet is 1/4 inch double strength cardboard. Together they are very strong and unbendable. ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! ) It will weigh 27 ounces ( 1 pound, 11 ounces ) when ready to ship. US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US priority or Media Mail. All US winners will get shipping through Paypal with a tracking number. Overseas buyers must use First Class Mail International. I will let you know the date I mailed your record and the US customs number. ( Buyers from Italy must assume all risks for shipping to their country. ) I will remove the record from the cover and place them in a plastic bag. I will send it as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM.) I will combine shipping if you win more than one record. There are no handling charges. This record is from a no smoking and no pets home.
