Description
An original Demonstration copy of the legendary 7" single from the TRex frontman Marc Bolan. Realistically, if your looking at this you know what this is. I found this copy at my dad's house, he used to be a DJ & has a pile of records, this one I knew was a great find. The labels are good & show signs of the 50 years they've been around but great condition (see photos). The B side has a tiny amount of sicker residue from an old sticker, (again, please see photo). The record its self looks very good but play fantastically both A & B side with little to no run in or out crackle and not a crackle or click during the songs, all in all a great playing record, I'd say excellent condition. I have a Rega Planar turntable with an Ontofon MC 20 Super stylus with the Ortofon MCA -76 pre amp in to a Hafler pre & power amp powering a pair of Whatmough PFX2 monitor speakers, If this recorder had any faults this set up would let me know as it picks up the smallest crackle, it was like listening to a CD. I've described this record as honestly as I can & am very excited to offer this record to a deserving collector of this great star. There is no Buy It Now price as I'd like it to get what its worth but if you want to through me an offer, everyman has his price. The record will be sent in the best mailer I can find for records, it will be in between two pieces of thin ply (as my £1000 copy of Nirvanas Love Buzz was sent to me) in plastic sleeve & bag before the ply. It will only be sent with full insurance for the full amount of the final selling price at buyers expense, I will invoice after the auction when I have the winners address.
