Description
Extremely hard to find original FIRST OFFICIAL BOLAN single from 1965 on Decca Records UK _ Number F12288 – NOT DEMO
Side A) The Wizard
Side B) Beyond the Risin’ Sun
Both labels are in excellent condition. Both credits for Bolan (writer and artist) on side B have two dots above the O. This indicates that this is one of the earliest runs during the manufacturing of the records in November 1965 as the dots were later removed after the “error” was noticed.
Original sleeve – True High Fidelity – good condition but number 11925 written in top right corner of one side.
Vinyl quality is between G and VG – some surface marks, typical of a record of this decade that has been well played. From my family’s personal record collection, but has not been played for some years as we no longer have a deck.
This is an extremely rare original Marc Bolan single that would be a fantastic addition for any Marc Bolan fan or collector of rare 60’s records.
