Jazz pianist Marian McPartland hardly ever played in duet with a lone bass player. But here she does, with Linc Milliman (a jazz recluse who never wandered far from home, I’m told, but whom McPartland adored).
Tastefully recorded “live,” McPartland and Milliman here take on TWILIGHT WORLD, HERE’S THAT RAINY DAY, CLOSE YOUR EYES (great!), MILESTONES, THINGS AIN’T WHAT THEY USED TO BE, and INDIAN SUMMER, among others.
Nicely done, first note to last, from two people on instruments who really knew each other, here in a rare edition, factory sealed.
(Note, please, that where the shrink-wrap has broken on two corners, there is ever-so-slight fray beginning. Not unusual for a sealed album released 40 years ago, in 1969.)

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
