(2-LP Set) Strange Weather was Marianne Faithfull's first complete studio album following her recovery from a 17-year drug addiction. In her earlier recording career, many people were won over by her soft, feathery voice. Unfortunately, Faithfull's public image became tainted during her relationship with Mick Jagger in the late 1960s and drugs took over her life until the mid-1980s. The 1987 release contains a mix of rock, blues and cabaret and includes her re-recorded hit, "As Tears Go By" which proved to be even more poignant the second time around. "In portions of this album, the fabulous Marianne Faithfull takes up where Lotte Lenya and Marlene Dietrich leave off. In fact, she might well be called the 'Rhythm and Blue Angel'. And if she is not, it is surely because her extraordinary range places her far beyond any such limitation. Numbered limited edition of 2500 worldwide. Mastered by Bernie Grundman from the original masters and pressed at RTI.

Shipping

At City Hall Records we understand that you want your LPs to arrive in the same condition they're described.  So, we pack them carefully in a cardboard mailer, insulated with thick cardboard pads on each side, and with reinforcement on the corners. We want to be sure you get your LPs in the same condition in which they leave our warehouse. 

We've shipped hundreds of LPs to eBay buyers and have had no complaints about their condition.

Quality Control

Since all of our items are factory sealed we will not be responsible for an item's condition unless (you ask us to) inspect it.  Even though incorrect, defective or damaged product is very rare, we highly recommend that you allow us to inspect your item before we ship it out.  Just let us know by writing INSPECT when making your purchase.   

If there is something wrong with your record that could only have been seen by such inspection, and you did not request it, we will not be responsible for it.

Also, many LP buyers prefer to have the disc shipped outside the jacket to minimize damage to the jacket.  If you have requested that we inspect the disc, then we'll pack it outside the jacket.

Insurance

Like all eBay sellers, we're required to ensure that every shipment reaches the buyer in good condition. For that reason every eBay seller is self-insuring, and must build that cost into their selling price and/or shipping/handling fees. Nevertheless, if you wish to buy your own insurance, you may. Simply ask us to include insurance prior to payment.
