Description
For sale is an extremly rare recording of the pianist Marie Panthes (1872-1955) issued privately by her friends in Geneva upon the tenth anniversary of her passing.
The record, of which only one or two hundred copies were pressed, as far as I know, was never sold to the public and contains mostly unreleased material from Radio-Geneve.
Here is now a description of the record:
-SLEEVE: E condition (recto glossy,a very slight discoloration to the paper which has turned light cream; two light folding mark on the lower and upper right corner).
-RECORD:side A E+,minor spindle mark./side B E+, minor spindle marks, a small defect in the material on last track , about 5mm, will be heard: otherwise, the record is visually and acoustically nearly new.
