Ultra Rare Record from 1954 - Her rarest disc!
Dell Publishing Company - June 1954 - Sidney Skolsky interviews Marilyn Monroe and Marilyn sings: 1. File My Claim 2. Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend. This was to advertise Skolsky's Dell Publication selling for 25 cents.
This is a 33 and 1/3 7 inch record.
No hype here-This legendary Marilyn record is just never seen for sale. Book value in Jerry Osborne's Rocking Records is given as $3000-$5000. This is guaranteed original and not a reissue or bootleg. Peach colored label.
Condition: Label is clean as shown. Records looks a nice VG+ with full gloss and shows light use. Owing to the low fidelity and pressing quality it plays closer to a VG with noticeable though unobtrusive surface noise. There are no audible scratches or loud pops; there are some occasional short hissing sounds below the music. Low Reserve!
