Mario Lanza on 78 rpm Records. RCA Victor Album DM 1506: The Great Caruso consisting of 4 records and the original album cover and all in (my opinion) excellent condition. See pictures and examine closely to make your own opinion. Just before listing I listened to both sides of all 4 records and they all sound great. I think that they probably sound as good as the day they were purchased. Mario Lanza was a great tenor. I inherited this album from my grandparents and don't think this album was used much. Operatic arias from the soundtrack of the MGM picture. This picture was a major hit in 1951. The Great Caruso: Arias include: Rigoletto-Questa o quella; Rigoletto-La donna e mobile; Rigoletto-Parmi veder le lagrime; Tosca-Recondita armonia; Tosca-E lucevan le stele; Elisir d’Amore-Una furtive lagrima; Gioconda-Cielo e mar; Pagliacci-Vesti la giubba; Great album, circa 1951.
