Description

Being offered is a play tested bundle of Mark Knopfler's soundtracks being , the Local Hero album  published by Vertigo in 1983, the album Cal published by Vertigo in 1984, the Comfort and Joy 12" single published by Vertigo in 1984 , and the album The Princess Bride published by Vertigo in 1987.
I have listened to everything in its entirety and as you can see from the spindle wear, or lack of it, see photos 4-7, there is very little evidence of any wear or playing and there is nothing that will disturb your listening pleasure.
However side 1 of Local Hero does have a cosmetic surface scratch or scuff, see photo 8. However this has no impact on the playing quality.
I dont believe that the Comfort and Joy 12 " came with an inner, see photo 3. The other vinyl do have inners which have no rips or tears.
A cat has scratched the spine of Local Hero, photos 12 and 13 show that the damage is all in the upper half. The top right corner is also creased, see photo 11 and there are some half hearted cat scratches to the top edge of the sleeve, see photo 14.
Comfort and Joy is undamaged and I show the spine, see photo 17, all the edges are comparable and undamaged.
Cal's spine has got away lightly, photo 15 shows the spine, there is one scratch 2 cms from the top of the spine and some slight rubbing on the head of the spine. There are however some scratches to the top edge see photo 16. Also phot 10 shows that the top edge needs gluing back down.
The spine of The Princess Bride has been heavily scratched particularly towards the top , see photos 18 and 19 but the other edges have escaped unscathed.
