TWO – Catalogue # MAL 2 – Pianist Lois Shafiro plays Ravel: Valsas Nobres et Sentimentales / Haydn: Sonata No. 49 in Eb major – Great Audiophile recording produced without compromise making use of Mark Levinson special equipment for use with calibration microphones and high-speed wide track tape format to create virtually noiseless, ultra low distortion master tapes, without noise reduction systems. As a result, this record reproduces clearly the sound of the concert hall, the “air” or “space” around the music itself. This is the France Grey label pressing. 1976
