Description
A most rare Marlene Dietrich 1930 recording of "Ich Bin Vom Kopf Bis Fuss Auf Liebe Eingestellt" and "Nimm Dich In Acht Vor Blonden Frauen". 10" 78 rpm shellac vinyl on the RCA 'His Master's Voice' label, manufactured in Czechoslovakia (hence the stickers) by The Gramophone Co. Both sides are in excellent, pristine condition and have been very lightly played. No original sleeve.
"Ich Bin Vom Kopf Bis Fuss Auf Liebe Eingestellt", literally "I am, from head to toe, ready for love", was originally performed in the 1930 film "Der Blaue Engel" (The Blue Angel). The English version of the song, "Falling in Love Again" became Dietrich's anthem song.
"Nimm Dich In Acht Vor Blonden Frauen" on the verso translates to "Those Charming Alarming Blond Women", and was also in The Blue Angel film.
