Marlene Dietrich Lili Marlene an Original 1st Pressing in the US on Columbia CL 1275. Released in 1959. Rare in this condition. This album is entirely sung in German.
Marie Magdalene "Marlene" Dietrich 27 December 1901 – 6 May 1992) was a German actress and singer who held both German and American citizenship. Throughout her unusually long career, which spanned from the 1910s to the 1980s, she maintained popularity by continually reinventing herself.
"Lili Marleen" is a German love song performed by Lale Andersen, which became popular during World War II throughout Europe and the Mediterranean among both Axis and Allied troops. Written in 1915 as a poem, the song was published in 1937 and was first recorded by Lale Andersen in 1939 as "Das Mädchen unter der Laterne" ("The Girl under the Lantern").

This 1st pressing Deep Groove vinyl always sounds so much richer and fuller because of the stabilizing affect the heavier vinyl has on the sound vibrations on replay.
Test Played and plays beautifully - might have an occasional pops. Vinyl is VG- (Near Mint except for audible tick on side 2 track 1) Cover is VG- condition because of 2 splits that have been neatly taped Labels Clean - no spindle marks Nice New Sheen, deep groove vinyl Columbia CL 1275 Mono
