Up for bid today is a rare, limited edition copy of The Mars Volta's prog-rock masterpiece Frances the Mute. This edition includes the full 3-LP album of Frances the Mute, as well as a copy of The Widow 12" EP, packaged in a handsome red vinyl slipcover. This edition was limited to 500 copies and pressed on glow-in-the-dark vinyl, making it a treasure for fans of progressive rock and vinyl records alike.
Frances the Mute is perfectly emblematic of The Mars Volta's unique sound: cryptic lyrics, layered guitars, and a distinct jazz and Latin influence. Frances the Mute has receieved near-universal critical acclaim and will make a great addition to your collection.
