Set with Original Cue Sheet Rare Original Radio Station Broadcast Set! Offered here is an authentic King Biscuit Flower Hour radio broadcast package featuring Southern rock legends The Marshall Tucker Band. Prepared by D.I.R. Broadcasting Corporation for airing on May 18, 1980, this exclusive program was distributed only to participating radio networks.  Unlike a commercial retail release, these broadcast LPs were never intended for sale to the public. Surviving complete examples are increasingly difficult to next to impossible to find—especially as a complete 2-LP set capturing The Marshall Tucker Band's legendary live energy during their peak touring years.   • Original Cue Sheet for the May 18, 1980 broadcast
  • With paper record sleeves
  • Both records have been placed in new archival inner sleeves to preserve the  paper sleeves
  • Housed in a clear protective outer sleeve
Please note that there is no traditional album jacket or retail cover. These radio broadcast sets were commonly shipped to stations in plain sleeves with the accompanying cue sheet, much like this example. Condition

Estate Provenance This set comes from an outstanding collection acquired from the estate of a former radio station and record company executive. The collection contained numerous original radio-only promotional broadcasts and industry-issued recordings that had been professionally retained for decades.
