If you're a Vandellas fan you need to be looking for the ABSOLUTE best possible offering EMI could manage. And this copy is THE ONE TO GO FOR. <<<<
A genuine and very 1st press of VOLUME 2 from Feb 1973. Matrix A1/B1. Stampers 1R/1R - meaning this is a copy from within the 1st few thousand ever produced by EMI. Thanks to the preservation on this copy you WILL NEVER better the audio than is offered by this original pressing. The early stampers are a real plus - but remember the early 73 copies are going to avoid the skimping that record companies entered into later that year as the oil price spiralled. Note the labels mention 'Gramophone' text as you will only find 1st issue. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in a genuine 1st cover. We also have a genuine inner from the time too. So 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) Well, isn't this a dapper looking copy - a total time traveller. Beautiful lustre on this bad-boy and has only seen very slight use. Under close inspection I'm struggling to spot a single mark. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Now, don't go under estimating a grading like that on ANY vintage record. That is a stellar grading from any angle. If you're looking for a perfect rendition then this would be the copy to go for. No kidding - it is A-MAZING. Near perfect from start to finish. Clearly the early stampers are helping, but it is just so well preserved. Can't fault it. Just perfection all the way through. FINAL UPGRADE. 
Cover (Ex+) Wow, just when you think things can't get any better take a look at this cover. UNBELIEVABLE. You'd swear it had been made last month....but NOPE! This is genuine '73. TOTALLY unaged/unfaded and perfectly flat and uncreased. The surfaces front and back are like mirrors. Not the slightest hint of edge wear - never seen better. The openings is perfectly sharp. Four pointy corners. The DOUBLE spine is 100% perfect - without any compression. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. An easy...FINAL UPGRADE.
Inner (VG+) Light ageing. Bag present. No splits.
