Description
One of a selection of rare soul albums I'm selling for a friend. Check my other items for many other rare and collectable soul / R&B / Tamla / Northern Soul albums.
This is probably the gem of the collection, and so rare that it's seldom seen for sale at any price. I've never seen one before - either in a collection or for sale. It's a UK issue, on Oriole, from 1963, of the Martha and the Vandellas album "Come and Get These Memories". The sleeve bears the legend "Motown Recording USA", and the Cat. No. is PS 40052 (mono of course !).
It's in very good / excellent condition with some light surface scratches only, unsightly but they don't affect the playability at all. This record has the initials "IC" scratched into the playout groove but these don't affect it in any way.
