Cut above the rest debut Blues rock LP from Velez who has a great voice, comparable to
Julie Driscol, or Bonnie Bramlet. The album has a host of star musicians including:
Eric Clapton, Stan Webb (Chicken Shack), and Paul Kossoff (Free) on guitar,
Christine McVie (Fleetwood Mac) on keyboards, Jack Bruce on bass, Mitch Mitchell (
The Jimi Hendrix Experience) on drums, and Brian Auger on organ.
Condition: the vinyl is VG+ or EX with 5 ultra light, not very long, scuff marks.
Play interference is practically non existent. Tiny bit of very low volume level surface
noise occurs twice: . 5 out of 10 for loudness, that comes and goes briefly in the second last
track on side one. Nothing significant, really at all. For about 5 seconds during
the intro to track one side 2 there is low volume surface
noise that is about a 2 out of 10 for loudness, where 10 would be as loud as the music.
The gate fold cover is VG+ or EX with small slightly lightened patches on the front.
No cut out hole or seam splitting.
