Description
Prokofieff: Symphony No.7, Overure Russe
Jean Martinon conducts the Paris Conservatoire Orchestra.
200g audiophile pressing of US RCA stereo-recording LSC 2288 issued by Classical Records.
All LSC re-issues on offer are either 180g or 200g pressings, the 180s are often around or more than 190g of weight, the 200s often exceed to up to 210 g. Alle were among the first wave of audiophiles to appear in the 90s.
All are US-pressings that were (with one exception) produced for the European market. That's why they don't have the shaded dog-label facsimile as EMI holds the exclusive copyrights for „Nipper“ in Europe.
All re-issues on offer this week are literally in Mint condition. As they may have been played once or twice I rate all of them NM, but the majority appears to be in perfect unplayed estate.
The covers are all in pristine shape with only very light wear if any.

About my record-grading:
All records are described as accurately as possible and I will always prefer a more detailed depiction of the actual status, but usually I’ll only visually grade the records.
Please note that old records that were stored in shelves for a long time might have static noises even if they still look like new. Professional cleaning will almost always solve that problem.
Dust on records will generally not influence my gradings but if records appear to have stronger signs of soiling, I will give them a professional cleaning and playgrade them to get a more objective view on what their condition is actually like.
