Description

Marty Paich "The Marty Paich Quartet Featuring Art Pepper" 1958 Tampa Records TP-28 mono reissue.  Sought after early reissue, pink label, deep groove version of the 1956 original.  Pepper is the actual focus of this very cool album.  Sleeve is nice straight on, but with demo stamps front and back (see photos), damage to the spine and edges, splits at both openings, so no higher than a weak Very Good (VG) rating.  Vinyl is better. Under a strong light you'll be able to see light scuff and scratch that's not directly affecting playback.  There's a light crackle that mostly stays tucked under the music, and a 30 second or so click in A3, but I still think it's a Very Good plus (VG+) record you'll really dig listening to.  Just cleaned with a VPI wet-vac system.  I'll pay the shipping via USPS Media Mail.
