Description

Check out my other auctions for a bunch of nice jazz LPs, including Art Pepper and John Coltrane! Here’s a very rare Tampa LP by the Marty Paich Quartet featuring Art Pepper! This is an original RED vinyl pressing from 1957 on the Tampa label, number TP28. This is very rare and hard to find, and the music is GREAT as well. The vinyl grades in the VG- range, however I was pleased to find the play grade on this one is MUCH better than that. I was really surprised to find how well mastered this album is, and I’m sure the deep grooves have helped preserve the sound of this LP. I played it all the way through, and there are no skips. There is moderate static for the first 30 seconds or so of play (guess that area got played a bit more than the rest for some reason), then the noise settles down and stays that way for the rest of the album. Truly a great sounding album despite the obvious wear. The cover’s main issues are seam splits on the top and bottom. Aside from that, the graphics are in fairly good shape with wear to the corners and edges. This album is hard to find in any condition!! INTERNATIONAL BIDS WELCOME. Drop me a message if ebay doesn’t calculate shipping for you. California residents add 7.975% tax. Happy bidding!!
