Ludwig van Beethoven: Sonata for Violin & Piano No.8 in G major
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Sonata for Violin & Piano KV 376 in F-major.
Performed by Johanna Martzy & Jean Antonietti.
German Ed1 DGG mono-pressing with „Alle Hersteller“-labels. Article-No. LPM 18 075. Date on back-cover: 2/55, date in dead wax on both sides is 21.10.'52.-
Condition Cover: EX. Stitched laminated fold-out with light general wear

Condition Vinyl: Between VG and EX. Both sides cannot have been played more than two or three times, but show significant differences:
- The Beethoven-side has two long thin marks, most likely from fingernails. They are mostly inaudible, but there are about 40 to 50 loud tics at the end of the first movement, some lighter tices in the 2nd. Apart from this there is some kind of background grinding noise throughout, something that can often be found in early DGGs and probably has to do with the pressing- technique. This side can still be listened to in its entirety without too much distrations, but it's far from a perfect copy
- The Mozart-side has no scratches and no background-grinding, just some wiping from the rough innersleeves and plays solid EX with occasional static tics. I would rate this as about as good as it gets for a first pressing of that age.
